Armin Merz and Gavott vom Gomaringer Schloss
are the area champions in the 5k race!!!

This year’s area championship of the KG11 organized by the swhv tournament dog sport club took place at the VdH Metzingen on May 9th, 2004.

The 5k course was mainly flat and the start and finish lines were right next to the dog training field where the spectators were able to cheer on the runners with their dogs. Time “taking” and the posts along the course were well organized.

In the 30 age group, Armin Merz of our club participated with his Dobermann bitch Gavott vom Gomaringer Schloss. From the start line Gavott showed her drive and supported Armin by “galloping” almost the whole course.

With an outstanding time of 17 minutes 58 seconds the two became area champions. Their lead ahead of the 2nd place winners was approx. one and a half minutes.
